Following our official July launch, Occhi Contemporary Art is pleased to announce the representation of Iranian artist Pantea Mahrou. Using spiritual symbols, and architectural influences, her work provides emergy that encapsulates the rich history of middle eastern culture with a contemporary perspective on life. Paying careful attention to the colors used, she provides audiences with a sense of calm and peace.

Artist statement
'I have been involved in running работа мск and managing my family business which is the construction of residential developments for the past 10 years. I have also been one of the main investors and architect of all projects. Additionally, I taught architectural courses at Azad university for two years. I am a professional painter and sculptor and have showcased my art pieces in several exhibitions in Iran and other countries such as France and Hungary. Apart from art, I’m interested in skiing and yoga. I particularly enjoy meditation and therefore I have been using symbols of chakras and the Om sign in my artworks. I believe that through these signs and symbols I can convey positive energy to the audience of my artworks.'
